In the chapter titled “Cradled in the Waves, a Little Bloated, a Little Tempest Toss’d” author Jonah Campbell laments about the Dorito’s All Nighter Cheeseburger Chips and how much he dislikes Doritos. So to pay homage (tongue-in-cheek) to this irreverent food writer, I give you the most simple but tasty lunch you’ll eat while camping or sunbathing in the back yard!
Ingredients
Small bag of Doritos (any flavour)
Bag of Quebec’s squeaky cheese curds
1 can St. Hubert’s poutine sauce
Directions
Heat the sauce in the microwave or on the stove top.
Open the bag of Doritos and top with the cheese curds. Or put Doritos in a bowl and continue. Pour sauce over the curds.
Nada’s Tips & Tricks: My grandkids LOVE this recipe. They visit a campsite where the tuck shop serves these and it’s a MUST on every visit. Easy peasy and so yummy… perfect for a summer lunch! We tried Nacho Doritos with cheddar cheese curds and poutine sauce…eat it quickly before the chips get soggy….no problem!
