Irish Coffee
Brew your favorite coffee – use whatever roast you prefer.
Add Irish whiskey to a mug. Measure according to your alcohol preference.
Sweeten with some maple syrup. Adjust amount to suit your sweetness preference. You can also use brown sugar instead of the syrup.
Add a splash of coffee.Gently stir to blend. Then fill the mug with coffee, leaving about 1/2-inch at the top for whipped cream.
Top with whipped cream and garnish with shaved chocolate, a drizzle of maple syrup or crushed candy canes.
