Dukkah Bagels

from Zambonelli Fine Foods

This a variation on the weight watchers 2 ingredient bagels. Super simple and delicious. I have substituted the Everything seasoning with Dukkah for an incredible new taste experience.

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes

Serves 4

Ingredients

1 cup of self rising flour*

1 cup 0% Plain Greek Yogurt

1 egg for egg wash

Zambonelli Dukkah – your favourite flavour

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine 1 cup of self rising flour and 1 cup yogurt in a bowl until a dough starts to form.

Turn dough on a lightly floured surface and brush your hands with a bit of flour.

Knead and divide into 4 balls.

Roll out each dough ball to form a rope and pinch the ends of each rope together to make a circle. 

Beat the egg and brush over the bagels and sprinkle with the Dukkah.

Bake on a parchment lined pan for 23 minutes. Raise the temperature to 500 degrees and bake for an addition 2 – 5 minutes to brown the tops. 

* For every 1 cup of self-rising flour you are substituting: 1 cup (4.25 oz, 119 gr) all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp (0.3 oz, 7.5 gr) baking powder, 1/4 tsp (0.05 oz, 1 gr) salt.

Nada’s Tips & Tricks: My favourite bagel at Timmy’s is the Everything with herb & garlic cream cheese. Now I can make my own with new seasonings!
